Press FAQs
How do I register for a press pass?
Please register for your complimentary press pass by contacting doug@ionacommunications.com Alternatively, you can register on site free-of-charge as a visitor.
When will I receive my press pass?
You will receive your press badge by email at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
Can I bring members of the editorial team with me to the Show?
All members of the press are welcome to attend the exhibition and conference free-of-charge. If you wish to bring colleagues with you, please ensure they register too.
How do I get there?
The Emergency Services Show 2013 will be held in Halls 17 & 18 NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT
Where will the Press Office be?
The Press Office will be located within the organisers offices in Hall 17 and will be signposted.
Will there be storage space for my luggage/laptop/equipment?
The Press Office will be manned but we cannot accept responsibility for items left in the Press Office..
Will press packs be available in hard copy or electronic format? Press packs will be provided in electronic format only on our USB sticks. There will be one hard copy of each press pack for viewing purposes only.
Will there be internet access?
There is wireless internet access available throughout the venue; the access code can be obtained from the Press Office.
Will the Press Office be manned?
The Press Office will be manned at all times by a member of staff.
Can our publication bring our own photographer to the show?
Please contact doug@ionacommunications.com to obtain permission. The photographer will then need to register as press.
Will filming be permitted at the event?
Filming is permitted at the event with prior permission, please contact doug@ionacommunications.com
How do I retrieve official show photos?
Please contact Doug Bentall after the event who will be able to source official show photos for you.
