Policing is relentless, fast, and unpredictable. Officers have to keep calm, show no fear and put others first. This session takes a holistic view of the day to day pressures of a response officer and asks: ‘who is responsible for keeping the police well?’
Key learnings:
• The four pillars of wellbeing: general, physical, financial, mental health.
• How fatigue can impact day to day service delivery.
• It can be hard for a blue light worker to admit they need help.
• What the Police Federation and partners are doing to put the right support in place.
