Qatar OSCAR 100 is the first geostationary satellite with a Ham (amateur) Radio transponder on-board. On Thursday 15th July 2021, NHS England used the satellite as part of a public health global summit. This was done from the Radio Society of Great Britain’s National Radio Centre at Bletchley Park.
