Suicide rates in first responders are known to have been rising in recent years and the impact of this upon our 999 communities is understandably substantial. This presentation shares the outcomes of a recent piece of research which has explored this subject in depth, as well as how unique initiatives are arriving which address the challenges of seeking mental health support as a first responder.
