Crowded entertainment events can create challenges for multi-agency response. However, with central control rooms and pre-deployed frontline security staff, many large-scale events also offer an opportunity to respond quickly to problems, supporting identification during the earliest stages of an incident. This session will explore how Coventry University and the West Midlands Training Exercising and Learning Group worked alongside the management team of a national-scale event to support the generation of interoperability between the public and private sectors.
