Police forces across England and Wales will play a significant role in achieving the Government's Net Zero carbon ambition, from the vehicles we drive, to polices estates and the energy we consume. The NPCC continues to provide strategic direction to Policing on decarbonisation and work is underway on the National Sustainability Programme focusing on the key areas including strategy, transport, infrastructure, estates and energy to ensure a consistent approach. Lianne Deeming will provide an overview on the progress and activity that has been made to date and the challenges facing Policing on this journey.
