Survitec Group Stand: H22, OS110

Antarctic Fire Angels to join Survitec on their exhibition stand at the Emergency Services Show NEC

7th – 8th September 2021

“To inspire women and tackle the stigma of mental health”

Training to ski coast-to-coast across Antarctica in November 2023. Together they will cover 1,900Km, pulling 85 Kg pulks in temperatures as low as -50 and in wind speeds of over 60 mph in approximately 70 days.

Conquering this route using mind and muscle power alone will be a World Record, as the team would be the first all-female emergency services team to achieve this.

Empowering women

Tackling gender stereotypes that stop women from entering traditionally male dominated arenas, the Fire Angels want to support women and girls have a career in whatever they choose.

Raise awareness

Empowering generations is a positive pathway to tackling mental health and the stigma associated with mental health. As firefighters they know how much mental health matters.  It is ok to not be ok

“We are excited to be invited to attend the Survitec stand at the Emergency Services Show this year.  We share the same ethics and values as this forward-thinking industry leader and are truly humbled by their support for us as a team of Fire Fighters as well as Antarctic explorers” – Assistant Chief Fire Officer and Fire Angel Alison Kibblewhite

We are also very pleased to announce that our unique blend of Explorer 90 Degree South Tea and Coffee will be available to purchase at the show.  Our ethical and sustainable t shirts, hoodies, tote bags and jumpers will be available to order from the stand too.
