Christian Ambulance Association (CAA)
The Emergency Services Show, NEC Birmingham 18-19 September 2019
The Christian Ambulance Association (CAA) provides support to Christians throughout the Ambulance Service and will be represented at The Emergency Services Show, NEC Birmingham on 18 and 19 September at stand U29.
Working in the Ambulance Service is a unique, rewarding but challenging environment specialising in caring for others at their time of need who are injured, ill, broken, lost and hurting
The Christian Ambulance Association is there to provide support to Christians in the Ambulance Service working closely with our partners in facilitating a 'Joint Approach' through the provision of help and support to staff not only within the Ambulance Service, but throughout the 'blue light' sector.
We are there to compliment and enhance existing mechanisms of support that exist throughout the Ambulance Service including those of our partners and look to extend our values, of love, care, compassion, truth, peace and hope to all staff.
The Health and a Wellbeing of staff is paramount and in participating in one of the Health and Wellbeing seminars, we will hear through personal testimony, of the daily challenges of what it is to be a Christian on the front line in the Ambulance Service, how those challenges impact personally, the importance of engagement in accessing that support and the role of the Christian Ambulance Association in supporting staff throughout the Ambulance Service.
'We want to support Christians in the ambulance service and we're delighted to be at ESS 2019 as its a great opportunity to reach more people in the ambulance service and make links with other support organisations.' Simon King (Chair) Christian Ambulance Association.

We get to work with the same kinds of people Jesus Christ spent time with; the least, the last and the lost. It’s our privilege to work in a team of caring, supportive colleagues. We are part of the ambulance ‘family’ and part of His family – they fit together. We can’t think of a better way than to serve on the front line. Whether you’re patient-facing or in a supportive role, we want to help build a community of Christians working in the ambulance service, supporting our community, our colleagues and one-another. The ambulance service is a unique environment which means the best people to support ambulance staff are often other Ambulance staff.
