Resilience Direct Press Release
Since 2014, CDS have worked with ResilienceDirectTM, part of The Cabinet Office to deliver Collaborate, an application that underpins an online private ‘network’ which enables civil protection practitioners to work together – across geographical and organisational boundaries – during the preparation, response and recovery phases of an event or emergency.
Through ResilienceDirect’s Collaborate, Local Resilience Forums can upload and review plans, minutes, and Incident Reports in one central location. Documents are electronically available and reviewable, with fully auditable Configuration Management.
To date, ResilienceDirectTM has been used during more than 3,000 major incidents including Grenfell Tower, the Manchester bombing and the London Bridge attack.
With the UK facing serious challenges on many levels, CDS is proud to work with our partners to support the Resilience community. Collaborate simplifies the process and allows them to concentrate on the most important part of a Major Incident: protecting the resilience, infrastructure, and people of our nation.
