Excelerate Technology in collaboration with Complexus Ltd, delivered a resilient bonded connectivity solution to power the new Pamper Street zone in Creamfields’ Downtown area, ensuring businesses and attractions stayed fully operational for the entirety of the iconic four-day festival.

Creamfields 2025 welcomed around 80,000 festivalgoers to Cheshire for a weekend of world-class performances from Swedish House Mafia, ANYMA, David Guetta, Chase & Status, Martin Garrix, and more. The launch of Downtown Pamper Street reflects the festival’s commitment to creating unique and memorable experiences for both attendees and traders.

Despite intense pressure on local infrastructure, Excelerate’s network in Pamper Street remained online at all times, supporting traders, payment systems, and immersive experiences like the Instagram-connected 360° photo booth.

Excelerate’s flagship Hybrid Edge Appliance, a bonded hybrid networking solution, was deployed ahead of the festival opening to provide high-capacity, always-on connectivity. The system intelligently combined multiple connections to deliver the best possible performance, including:

  • LEO satellite connectivity via Eutelsat OneWeb, using a Kymeta u8 flat panel antenna to deliver high-performance connectivity even when terrestrial networks became overloaded or unavailable.
  • Long-range cellular access through Excelerate’s Excell 5G LTE optimisation antenna, designed to reach distant towers beyond the range of standard devices.
  • Specialist unsteered roaming SIMs to automatically switch between mobile networks, maximising uptime and resilience.

While Pamper Street remained online, other areas experienced significant connectivity issues as festivalgoers began to arrive.
