Peter Jones, the UK based innovators behind Klick Fast and a
wide portfolio of durable carrying solutions, made its first official
donation of £2049.60 to Mind in Gwent earlier
this year, marking a major milestone in the company’s long-term commitment to
support mental health through its new Delta Range.
The donation represents the beginning of an ongoing pledge: for
every item sold in the Delta Range, Peter Jones will contribute directly to
Mind in Gwent, helping fund vital mental health services across the region.
This initiative reinforces the company’s belief that supporting wellbeing is
just as essential as protecting workers in the environments they serve.
A Partnership Rooted in Community Impact
Launched at last year’s Emergency Services Show, the Delta
Range offers cost-effective, sustainable and lightweight carrying options
for emergency services, security personnel, industrial teams and customer
facing staff. Designed with durability and environmental responsibility in
mind, the range demonstrates Peter Jones’ commitment to innovation with purpose.
Andrew Griffiths, Head of Business Development at Peter
Jones, emphasised the importance of the initiative:
“The ethos behind the Delta range is that it should ‘Make a
Difference’. We set out to make a product that was cost-effective and sustainable,
and wanted to help the people in our community too. We’re delighted to make
this donation to Mind in Gwent, especially as we know that this is the first of
many.”
Mind in Gwent—formed through the merger of Newport Mind,
Mind Monmouthshire and Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent Mind—works across local
communities to provide essential mental health support and advocacy.
Mike Walmsley, Head of Income Generation and Business
Development at Mind in Gwent said, “We were delighted when Peter Jones and JC
Moulding came to us last year with an idea to generate funds to support
grassroots mental health in their community through sales of their new Delta
Range. We have been blown away by the success of the product and the donations
linked to it. On behalf of everyone at Mind in Gwent, I would like to thank the
team at Peter Jones and JC Moulding for their ongoing support.”
Sustainable by Design
The Delta Range is manufactured through Peter Jones’ sister
company, JC Moulding, whose integrated tooling, design and injection
moulding capabilities ensure high-quality, sustainable production. Once items
in the range reach end of life, plastic components can be returned for
recycling, where they will be reground and repurposed, furthering the
organisation’s environmental commitments.
A Long-Term Commitment to Wellbeing
This first donation represents more than the successful launch
of a new product line and marks the start of a sustained corporate
responsibility effort. By linking commercial success to meaningful social
impact, Peter Jones aims to raise awareness of mental health challenges within
workplaces and communities.
The Delta Range is available now through the official
Peter Jones website and selected distributors.
