The corpuls3T is a 3-module system consisting of a monitoring unit, patient box and defibrillator/pacer. The modules can be separated at any time, to provide the user with more flexibility on scene or in the back of the Ambulance. The modules communicate wirelessly, eliminating annoying cables trailing across the cab and causing hazards.

The touch screen Monitoring Unit is the control centre of the corpuls3T. At just 2.9kg, including the battery and printer paper, it can be comfortably held in one hand and has multiple mounting solutions for the ambulance.

The Patient Box is the “heart” of the system. It collects, records and stores all vital parameters and measurements. Values recorded via pre-connected sensors are transmitted in real time wirelessly to the monitoring unit where they are displayed and/or processed. The patient box can be mounted on to the side of the stretcher in the ambulance.

The modular design of the corpuls3T allows complete mechanical separation of the Defibrillator/Pacer. However, the modules remain wirelessly connected. This significantly reduces the weight of the corpuls3 system which improves the mobility and flexibility of the system during urgent patient transfers such as from the ambulance to the hospital. In this configuration the patient can be remotely shocked from a safe distance via the monitoring unit.

The built in connectivity functions, such as 4G modem, WLAN and LAN are ideal for telemedicine and the corpuls communication platform corpuls.mission. When split, the three modules communicate wirelessly, giving the paramedic flexibility of movement in challenging emergency situations

SAFE IN THE BACK with CORPULS3

The AACE has recently launched the #SafeInTheBack campaign. The initiative aims to increase awareness about the dangers of not wearing seat belts in the back of ambulances and to boost compliance with safety regulations. The campaign is designed to resonate from the highest levels of ambulance services down to the frontline workers, emphasizing that safety is a shared responsibility.

Unlike traditional single-unit monitors, the corpuls3 can be separated into three wirelessly connected modules: the Monitor, the Patient Box, and the Defibrillator. This setup allows paramedics to perform up to 95% of their tasks from the safety of their seat.

By positioning each module optimally within the ambulance—such as securing the Patient Box to the stretcher and the Defibrillator on the trauma wall—paramedics can remain seated and belted while providing high-quality care. This innovative approach not only improves safety but also ensures that paramedics can quickly and effectively respond to patient needs without compromising their own well-being.
