Robust and hardwearing yet also lightweight and flexible, these boots have been CE EN ISO 20347: 2012 certified and are recognised as occupational footwear. This means that the LOWA R-6 GTX® provides some degree of anti-static protection, shock absorption, and resistance to damage from oil, water and penetrative forces.

Made with LOWA Patrol soles, the R-6 GTX® Tactical boot truly excels when worn over long distances or over prolonged periods of time. The special tread design provides enhanced grip and improves the wearer's stability. The boot's uppers, on the other hand, are made from full grain leather, a material known for its resilience and durability. Properly taking care of full-grain leather will ensure the boots have a long working life-span and the material's already attractive natural aesthetics will only improve with time and making them ideal for uniform purposes. 

To ensure the comfort of the wearer, the properties of the boot's upper and sole are augmented by a GORE-TEX® membrane lining. Breathable, waterproof and windproof, GORE-TEX® fabric is remarkable in that it allows moisture and heat escape but will not allow water, wind or anything else in. This feature alone is enough to eliminate or at least slow the development of any aches, pain or discomfort, thereby ensuring wearers of the LOWA R-6 GTX® tactical boot are able to remain on their feet comfortably throughout the day.
