Swiss-designed medical innovation

Schiller AG Stand: 5/H220

For more than four decades, SCHILLER has been committed to the fight against sudden cardiac death. In 1974, while the most established manufacturers still sold heavy and bulky emergency devices, SCHILLER launched a handy emergency electrocardioscope that was 10 times lighter.

Numerous products followed for cardiac diagnostics, cardiopulmonary diagnostics, and emergency care. Today, the latest member in the company’s Resuscitation and Emergency Care Portfolio follows in the footsteps of that handy emergency electrocardioscope so many years ago.

FRED easyport plus is the small and powerful defibrillator for anyone: its outstandingly low weight of only 780g and its small size, combined with greatest functionality, are unique worldwide.

In line with FRED easyport, the new pocket-size defibrillator FRED easyport plus offers: up to 200J energy; intuitive paediatric mode using the same electrodes as for adults; automatic adjustment of the large colour LCD screen’s brightness, adapting to all environments; regular self-tests to ensure its operability; operation with rechargeable or primary batteries for frequent and infrequent use; and guidance for effective chest compressions using ARGUS LifePoint® sensor.

The FRED easyport plus is available in three versions to fit different user levels: AED FIRST – suitable for first responders. This FRED easyport plus semi-automatic AED requires the rescuer’s confirmation to deliver a shock; AED AUTO – suitable for trained lay responders. The fully automatic FRED easyport plus does not require any action from the rescuer; and AED MANUAL – suitable for physicians. The manual FRED easyport plus allows doctors and paramedics to switch to manual override.

The FRED easyport plus fits inside any backpack, glove compartment, handbag and sports bag, ensuring that it is available when and where it is needed.
