International Paramedic Careers and Development (IPCD) was conceived to help meet the aspirations expressed by many paramedics to work internationally, not only from the perspective of gaining professional experience but also by gaining new skills and learning different approaches for the delivery of paramedic practice.  In addition, for some, there is the benefit of developing their careers in other countries. We are therefore highly committed to helping paramedics achieve their professional, career and personal goals and have developed relationships with like-minded colleagues.  Our first international pathway has been designed with the School of EMS, who are the largest provider of paramedic education in the United States, graduating ten percent of all paramedics who qualify in the US annually. This is a really outstanding programme that should hold wide appeal for any paramedic with a sense of adventure and a desire to explore their professional boundaries.
