British International Rescue Dogs (BIRD) consists of highly trained volunteers and specialist search dogs that form a totally self sufficient team able to deploy immediately anywhere in the UK and abroad. The team has deployed to disasters worldwide and has also assisted police, HM Coastguard and other rescue organisations here in the UK.
