The JCAC can be described as the modern-day equivalent of the Civil Defence Services from both wartime Britain and the Cold War era, and has been developed as a multi-disciplined voluntary emergency support asset. The objective of the Corps’ is to provide a credible and disciplined body of trained civilian volunteers to offer aid and support during emergencies.
