Alison Woodyatt is a Service Manager within the Operations Directorate of the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust (WAST) leading the EMS operational team in the Cwm Taf and Swansea Bay health board areas. Alison returned to education as a mature student following a career of working with horses and qualified as a Paramedic at Worcester University in 2011, she then completed 9 fulfilling years of  frontline duties based in Monmouth. Alison has always had an interest in leadership and is very proud of the teams she has lead since 2020 through not only a global pandemic, but also observing colleagues adapt and evolve through significant transformation within the profession and WAST. As a Service Manager Alison is passionate about her team's wellbeing and promoting development in an environment that is inclusive for all to explore their ambitions within a healthy workplace culture and ultimately providing excellent patient care.'
