Amanda is a Senior Lecturer of Policing at Liverpool John Moores University, previously an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and a consultant to the Department of Justice, and she received her Ph.D. from Old Dominion University. Amanda's research and teaching interests include homicide, criminal investigations, field forensics, human sexuality, policing, and stress, trauma and resilience in the first responder community.
