Andy is the Director of Wildfire Training and Consultancy Ltd. He delivers Wildfire consultancy services and a range of Lantra Accredited Wildfire/Vegetation fire training courses around the UK, Republic of Ireland and the UK Overseas Territories. He spent 35 years working in Local Government including 20 as a Countryside Ranger and 15 working in Geographical Information Systems. He is a Research Fellow at both the Universities of Exeter and Birmingham. His research includes work on the UK Fire Danger Rating System and Wildfire ignition causes. He has been an On-call firefighter for over 40 years and is a National Wildfire Tactical Advisor.
