Barry is a Director and family owner of Enduro Protect. After securing a National Contract in 2016 with the Fire Brigades, he learned about the serious issue of firefighters suffering from cancer. By 2019 he had developed an innovative protective Baselayer to shield the entire body from the impact of contaminants. After five years of research and over 80 prototypes, Enduro Protect now offer three variations of the Baselayer, along with a Flash Hood, Liner Gloves and Socks. Collaborating with Government Departments, and SMEs worldwide, Enduro Protect has evolved from a single Baselayer product, into a comprehensive division within the company, offering a complete head-to-toe solution for individuals working in potentially hazardous environments, including CBRN. After 30 years in business, Barry now devotes 100% of his time to this cause, of preventing cancer and mitigating heat stress among firefighters and first responders.
