
Brad Reid
Brad Reid is an Advanced Care Paramedic with over 31 years of frontline and leadership experience in paramedicine. As General Manager of Medavie HealthEd, Brad oversees the delivery of Emergency Medical Responder, Primary Care Paramedic, and Advanced Care Paramedic programs across campuses in three provinces.
With more than 25 years in education, Brad has been instrumental in shaping paramedic training in Atlantic Canada. He played a key role in developing the Maritime School of Paramedicine and launching its first Primary Care Paramedic program in 2001—an initiative that laid the foundation for what is now Medavie HealthEd.
Brad holds diplomas in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University and the University of Calgary, where he specialized in E-Education. His leadership extends nationally, having served as Provincial Director and Vice President of the Society of Prehospital Educators of Canada (SPEC), and as Medical Advisor, ACP, for the Professional Standards and Accreditation Committee of St. John Ambulance National.
A respected voice in the field, Brad has presented at numerous conferences across Canada, sharing insights on paramedicine, education, and professional standards.
