Brian spent 33 years working in the Fire Service, serving in London, Oxfordshire, Cleveland, Fife and Durham FRS’s predominantly Operational and Training roles. He also worked at the Fire Service College as Head of Operational Command, and served 7 years as Chief Fire Officer of Northumberland FRS being awarded the Queen’s Fire Service Medal in 2008.
