Carl has been with KFRS for over two decades, and in that time, he has helped countless members of the public in their time of need and also the fellow Firefighters he has served with. Not wanting to stop at just being a Firefighter, husband and farther. Carl has now embarked on a journey to become a qualified Counceller where he plans to help people on their road to recovery after their initial trauma. I have experienced Carls empathetic personality first had over thousands of miles as I now living in New Zealand. I joined KFRS with Carl back in 1999, and I have watched in awa as his career has progressed. Carl is the Firefighter we all aspire to be, and without question is a true unsung hero.
