Chris Maddocks is the Head of Economic and Cyber Crime at the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU). Chris leads a team of around 100 investigators that tackle a range of offences from organised intellectual property crime to ransomware attacks. Chris also leads a team that tackles the illicit finances of organised crime groups, removing funds from criminals to be used by community groups. The NWROCU is a collaboration of the six North West forces that focuses on organised criminality sitting between local and national bodies.
