Senior Lecturer and Course Director, Coventry University
Emma is a course director for Coventry University and leads on postgraduate programmes in Crowded Places & Public Safety Management, and Emergency Management & Resilience. Her teaching extends across a range of subjects at both under-graduate and post-graduate levels, including crowd management, risk management, emergency planning (UK and international), command and control, safety cultures, and testing, training and exercising of emergency arrangements. Emma is involved in the design, delivery and planning of emergency exercises that utilise the facilities at Coventry University's Simulation Centre, and is part of the award-winning West Midlands Training, Exercising & Learning Group. Alongside her work in academia, Emma maintains a consultancy, contributing to crowd safety operations for some of the world's largest events.
