Speakers & Advisory Council Members

Etienne is a Station Manager at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS), and a member of the NFFPPE technical Committee. He is presently responsible for R&D, procurement and management of PPE, and equipment within HIWFRS' Operational Assets department, he is a Hazardous Materials Advisor and National Resilience Detection, Identification & Monitoring officer as part of his Flexi-Duty officer role. Etienne also manages the HIWFRS' fire contaminants work stream, working towards best practice solutions, preventative measures, and procedures to help support a healthy workforce dealing with the suggested and identified impacts of exposure to products of combustion and fire effluent. Etienne also represents (HIWFRS) on British Standards (BSi) firefighters PPE committees.
