Garry Botterill

Founder and Operations Director, Service Dogs UK
Garry is Founder and Operations Director of Service Dogs UK and the OK9 Wellbeing and Trauma Support Dog Project Lead for the National Police Wellbeing Service. He has developed a world-class wellbeing dog scheme for police and fire and rescue services. A serving police sergeant, he also co-created the mental health app “Backup Buddy” and leads national work on wellbeing and trauma support dogs. His work champions innovative, compassionate solutions to support those affected by trauma.
