Gemma is an award-winning innovator in the use of drones for public safety. After graduating from Design Business Management at Bournemouth University, she combined her love for search and rescue from her years as a Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) beach lifeguard with her passion and technical knowledge of designing aerial technology and founded SkyBound Innovations, with the express aim of creating research-lead and evidence-based UAV designs. Gemma is currently embarking upon a venture called The SkyBound Rescuer Project, which is investigating into the potential and feasibility of search and rescue UAV integration within response procedures.
