Graham spent 30 years in the fire service, working across Bedfordshire, Luton and Devon & Somerset, rising through the ranks from firefighter to senior operational and leadership roles. Shortly after retiring, he was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer after acting on advice from a Prostate Cancer UK awareness session. Following surgery, radiotherapy, and ongoing treatment, he now uses his experience to encourage men to understand their risk and seek help early. He has also written a book about his journey, with proceeds supporting Prostate Cancer UK and The Fire Fighters Charity.
