Greg Lee

Greg Lee has served in the Fire Service for 30 years, working in a wide range of roles across Wiltshire, Sussex, and Kent, along with a period at the Fire Service College during its transition into private ownership. An experienced Incident Commander at all levels, taking lead command roles in several high-profile incidents, most recently the wildfires in the Southeast that formed one of the major incident declarations during the heat wave in late July 22. Greg’s career has centred around innovation, improvement, and excellence, leading on significant change programmes, particularly during the last 5 years in a Senior Leadership role. Whilst Greg will be leaving the Operational Response element of the Fire Service in September, his enthusiasm and love of the sector sees him working with creative partners to introduce technology that will support and enhance the Fire Service in every discipline.
