Ray Clare is Head of Leadership and Progression at the College of Policing. He has worked in police learning and development for 18 years and is the College’s lead for the work of the National Centre for Police Leadership. The NCPL is the arm of the College that brings together all of the leadership development initiatives in policing for which the College has responsibility, including national leadership standards, the police leadership programme, talent development programmes and promotion and progression processes.
