John Aitchison

Watch Commander, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

John is a Watch Commander for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. He was deployed to Nepal in 2015 as part of the UKISAR team on behalf of the British Government and returned the following year to set up Fire Aid Nepal. Since then he has given up his time to set up a fire service in Everest, returning twice a year to deliver equipment and training.
