John is Managing Director of SimTrainer UK with 45 years’ experience in fire and rescue, including 32 years as an operational officer. For the past 14 years, he has specialised in accredited incident management training for airport, local authority, and other emergency response services. Following personal cancer diagnoses for both him and his wife, John has become a passionate advocate for responder health, delivering conferences and talks on cancer risks, mental health, and particulate exposure.
