With over 31 years’ experience in procurement, having worked in industry for James River Graphics/Rexam in the coated film and paper industry, John moved into the public sector 21 years ago. At first working for Cheshire County Council and has since completed over 13 years working for the fire sector. He has worked for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and been involved in procurement and auditing of firefighter PPE, uniforms and equipment. John collaborates with the fire and rescue services in the North West and the National Resilience teams procuring goods and services for fleet and operations.
