Lucy joined Brake as Campaigns Manager in January 2023, after spending the last 15 years working in communications and campaigning within the voluntary sector. She is responsible for leading Brake's national campaigns that aim to move us closer to their vision of zero deaths on UK roads. In 2022, Lucy was awarded the Charity Times' Outstanding Individual Achievement Award for her work campaigning for a more LGBTQIA+ inclusive sector, and for her role in co-ordinating volunteer efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.
