Malte Kaas is Product Line Manager and specialist for the Connected Firefighter Platform at MSA Safety. In this role Malte is for extending the global SCBA telemetry platform and works closely with our global development teams for hard- and software to transition customer requirements into solutions that increase fire fighter safety on and off air globally.

Malte joined MSA in 2003 as field engineer responsible for system solutions around our test bench and telemetry solutions. Over his almost 2 decades with MSA, he has held product development roles as well as several positions in fire service product marketing around SCBA integrated electronics and software. Malte was as well deeply involved into the development of the M1 SCBA and the UK telemetry solution.
