Martin is Head of Technical and Design at A W Hainsworth and Sons, a fully vertical woollen mill based in Leeds, West Yorkshire who additionally produce a range of PPE for Structural and Wildland Firefighting. He is a member of BSI and ISO Standards Committees for Firefighters PPE, a role which has assisted Martin to gain a greater understanding of the future needs of firefighters. Martin has worked in Textile Manufacturing for over 35 years in a variety of roles covering Production Management, Quality and Technical functions and more recently developing a new range of Lightweight Structural Outer shell fabrics.
