Currently an Area Manager in LFRS, Neil is Head of Service Delivery which involves leading on the operational aspects of the service. He has previously been regional chair of a training managers forum and worked on various national NFCC projects, including FF Apprenticeships and End Point Assessment Organisation. His current involvement at a national level includes the NFCC Health and Wellbeing Board, leading on the physiological wellbeing and fitness work stream. This is where the work progressed by the Firefit Steering Group is reported and discussed. Outside of work, Neil has recently completed studying for an MSc in Professional Practice (Senior Leadership) with Lancaster University. He also enjoys various fitness activities including road cycling, trail running, and football.
