He is the founder of the UK's National Health Service radio communications station, callsign GB1NHS (Great Britain 1 National Health Service). It uses the global Ham (amateur) Radio platform to gain access to restricted radio frequencies which are used by specially licenced radio operators. Paul created the station to give the NHS the ability to reach communities anywhere in the world.
