Paul works for NHS England’s Emergency Care Improvement Support Team, a national team focused on supporting the implementation of best practice. He is the founder of the UK's National Health Service radio communications station, callsign GB1NHS (Great Britain 1 National Health Service). It uses the global Ham (amateur) Radio platform to gain access to restricted radio frequencies which are used by specially licenced radio operators. Paul created the station to give the NHS the ability to reach communities anywhere in the world. Regardless of geographic location or connection to domestic power supplies, land lines, cell phone or internet services.
