Speakers

Pete Murphy is the Head of Research and Professor of Public Policy and Management at Nottingham Business School, with extensive experience of developing policy and managing delivery at both national and local levels. He joined Nottingham Business School in 2009, prior to which worked as a Senior Civil Servant in four Whitehall Departments, and as Chief Executive of a Local Authority. With over twenty years spent in local government, his research focuses on public policy, and the governance, scrutiny, and public assurance arrangements of centrally and locally delivered public services.
