Phil is the Strategic Lead for Mobilising and Digital Transformation at Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service. Since 2022, Phil has been seconded to the National Fire Chiefs Council to lead on the work around emerging technologies. This work has been heavily dominated by the proliferation of lithium-ion batteries within the built environment and he is supporting the fire and rescue services as they evolve their response to incidents involving these batteries.
