Richard has over three decades of experience in forensic science, with a distinguished background spanning both traditional and digital disciplines in this area of policing. Richard’s career includes significant tenures in leadership roles in National Programmes, Policing and the National Crime Agency (NCA), where he has played an instrumental role in shaping national forensic strategies. For the past 15 years, he has specialized in the change management of forensic services, driving transformative initiatives to modernize and enhance capabilities. Currently, he is leading the Police Digital Service’s Forensic Portfolio, which is driving digital transformation across forces, with an expert team using their deep knowledge and experience to deliver cutting-edge solutions for policing.
