Richard Wood has served as Director of Weber Rescue UK Limited since January 2007, leading one of the UK’s specialist suppliers of technical rescue equipment to the blue light sector. Having worked within the rescue equipment industry since 1990, Richard has accumulated more than 36 years of experience supporting UK Fire & Rescue Services and other emergency responders with mission-critical rescue solutions.

Throughout his career, Richard has witnessed significant advances in rescue technology and operational practices. He has worked closely with emergency services across the UK, helping organisations select, implement and support equipment designed to perform in the most demanding environments. His particular expertise lies in road traffic collision (RTC) rescue equipment, where reliability, innovation and operational effectiveness are paramount.

Richard is passionate about sharing practical knowledge and embracing technologies that improve firefighter safety, equipment accountability and operational resilience. He continues to work closely with emergency services to ensure they have access to innovative, dependable solutions that meet the evolving challenges of modern rescue operations.
