I'm nominating CHIEF ROBERT TRIOZZI. Chief Triozzi for over 40 years reorganized and created fire departments in various countries around the world, including my fire department. Mostly his work has been in developing and war torn countries. He has worked with Firefighters in 75 countries on 5 continents including 7 countries in wartime conditions coming under fire during bombing raids and sniper attacks. He created the Kosovo Fire Service and was able to get Serbs and Albanians to work together. As UN Fire Chief he recognized the need to help firemen in underdeveloped countries. He then created the Fire Rescue  Development Program. It's the only international fire rescue NGO recognized by the UN operating under the auspices of the UN Economic and Social Council. He's been a huge inspiration to firemen everywhere making them efficient with limited resources, instilling in them a sense of pride and self esteem.
