Charles Dixon is the Senior Airport Fire Officer at Cornwall Airport Newquay with over 20 years’ experience in the Rescue and Firefighting Service. Current responsibilities include leading, managing, and coordinating fire and rescue operations at the aerodrome as well as emergency planning, wildlife and habitat management and winter operations. He served as the Airport’s Tactical Commander during the UK’s first space launch in 2023 and for the G7 Summit held in Carbis Bay in 2021.
