Ruth joined The Fire Fighters Charity in 2021, previously appointed to the Board as Trustee for Business Development and Marketing. Ruth’s career in sales and marketing began at technology giant Apple where she rose to become Industry Partners Lead for Apple Europe.
Ruth is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, and as Head of Fundraising for the National Poppy Appeal led teams of regional fundraisers to support 350,000 dedicated and committed volunteers raise £36.2m.
She is currently a student at Warwick Business School on the Executive Masters’ Digital Transformation Leadership programme.
Her brother is a volunteer firefighter in Sydney, Australia’s National Park, so she is empathetic and passionate about supporting the fire services community.
