Ryan Buxton
Paramedic
Ryan Buxton is a paramedic researcher with a specialist interest in mental capacity and mental health law. His work focuses on decision-making and mental capacity assessment in pre-hospital care. He continues to work clinically alongside a number of regulatory and governance roles.
Ryan has completed a Master of Laws and is developing a doctoral research project exploring how paramedics apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005. His interests also include education, co-production and ethical practice.
