Ryan Ferris
Ryan is a Critical Care Paramedic with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, with a particular interest in resuscitation science, prehospital critical care, and clinical education. Alongside frontline practice, he is actively involved in the development of evidence-based clinical practice, governance, and clinician education.
He regularly teaches on prehospital critical care courses that are open to clinicians from across the UK and has presented at conferences on topics including prehospital critical care, traumatic brain injury, and resuscitation science. His current interests focus on physiology-guided resuscitation and the optimisation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation through the application of physiological monitoring to improve patient care.
Ryan holds an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Critical Care) and is an Independent Prescriber. While not currently undertaking funded research, he maintains a strong interest in translating emerging evidence into clinical practice through education, quality improvement, and innovation.
