DCC Sam de Reya is Deputy Chief Constable and is responsible for force performance, and service delivery, optimising the potential of the people, ethical and professional standards, force risk, audit, inspection activity, organisational learning, and the Force Change Programme. Sam is the National Police Chief Council's (NPCC) Lead for Ethics and is an avid supporter of police charities, she is the Vice Chair of the Trustee Board for Flint House rehabilitation centre and is a champion for equal opportunities and health and wellbeing in policing. She is a graduate of the UK National Strategic Command Course in 2020 and the FBI National Academy in 2018.
